But a couple of years ago in Charleston I saw some lovely displays of spring bulbs and decided it was time to try harder. Maybe Charlestonians plant hundreds ever year. I don't know. I expect at least some of mine to naturalize. Barbara: We're supposed to be Zone 8b, but lots of Zone 8 things won't grow here, so I think we are really Zone 9. Here, bulbs don't all flower at once ,so maybe things are just starting to wake up and get going.
