Color on the Paint Chip
This bench certainly hasn’t come out the color I expected. I don’t think I’m very good at color. In exoneration, I will add that the bench is one Thom built from a $30 kit more than 10 years ago and that I have probably given it a few extra years of life.
This is what the bench looked like before. I thought that color was pretty daring at the time, although admittedly it has faded.
I’m an art director/graphic designer and I love the color of your chair! I think it’ll look even better when it’s a weather worn as it was when it was blue.

What a nice guy. Thanks a million! I find I am startled by my colors when I first see them; a month later I rather like them; and then I never notice them again. Your designer’s eye is much more to the point.
